2023 Preview
The Pine Raiders are primed and ready for what could be one of their best seasons in recent years.
Head coach Bradley Seal returns 15 total starters from a year ago along with an experienced squad that is eager to set the tone early for what is to be a challenging 2023 slate.
Eight return on the offensive side of the ball with senior offensive lineman Jackson Jones (6-7, 295) leading the way up front along with James Owens who shares duties on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Pine brings back seven starters who will be looked upon to handle the high-scoring offenses of district opponents such as Albany, Amite and Bogalusa.
Although it has assembled one of its best squads, Pine must remain viglient in continuing to work hard and compete for every yard as it enters district play. Four of its league opponents not only advanced to the postseason last year but also hosted a game. However, if they can journey through a tough regular season slate, the postseason will seem like a breeze.
The sky is the limit for Coach Seal's squad.
