Team roster

The Airline Vikings return a strong core nucleus consisting of returning starters and underclassmen who will transition into key roles on Friday nights. The expectation is to play with tremendous pride, effort, and sportsmanship.

New head coach Justin Scogin hopes to instill a sense of both mental and physical toughness and a burning desire to compete from the first whistle to the last. He believes that if those traits are instilled into the football team, there is no doubt that the wins will come and the Airline Vikings will be sitting right in the middle of the 5A playoff picture.

On the 2022 slate are a trio of strong programs that will be an early test for the Vikings to start the season. In Week 1, Airline will travel to take on North Desoto before returning home for a showdown with a Trey Holly-led Union Parish squad. The Vikings finish out their non-league portion with a game at Northwood of Shreveport. In district, Airline hosts, Natchitoches Central, Haughton, Parkway and Southwood and will travel to Benton, Captain Shreve, and C.E. Byrd.
