2025 All-GeauxPreps Football Large School Selections Announced

The 2025 All-GeauxPreps.com Large School Team celebrates the elite talent from Louisiana’s top high school football classifications, covering Classes 3A through 5A across both Select and Non-Select divisions.

Evangel’s Peyton “Pop” Houston earns the 2025 GeauxPreps.com Offensive MVP honors after a sensational junior campaign. The LSU commit accounted for 4,778 total yards, throwing for 3,836 yards, adding 942 on the ground, and finishing with 54 total touchdowns. Houston led an explosive Evangel offense that averaged 48 points per game, guiding the Eagles to a 9–3 record and a trip to the quarterfinals.

Defensively, Iowa’s Kaston Lewis was named the GeauxPreps.com Defensive MVP following an outstanding two-way season that helped lead the Yellow Jackets to their first state championship in school history. The junior piled up 113 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six interceptions, and 10 pass breakups.

Lewis also made a major impact on the other side of the ball, scoring 26 total touchdowns, including 24 rushing, and totaling more than 1,000 all-purpose yards. In the state title game, he delivered on both sides of the ball with five tackles, one PBU, 172 rushing yards, and two touchdowns.
