
2025 GeauxPreps Boys Basketball All-Tournament Team Announced

The 2025 LHSAA Boys’ March Madness State Tournament came to an exciting conclusion last week, and what an incredible year of Louisiana basketball. This year’s tournament featured some of the top talent in the state. It’s time to give a well-deserved shout-out to the standout players who truly stood out in Lake Charles. GeauxPreps presents our 2025 All-Tournament Team, celebrating the student-athletes who made the biggest impact when it counted the most.
- Drew Timmons – Archbishop Hannan (MVP)
- Drew recorded 8 points, 1 assist, 9 rebounds, and 1 steal in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he finished with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.
- Armonii Benjamin – Avoyelles Charter
- Armonii scored 19 points with 1 assist and 2 rebounds in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block.
- Tyrone Jamison – Calvary
- Jamison scored 20 points, along with 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.
- Jace Conrad – Central
- Jace scored 22 points, adding 1 assist and 3 rebounds in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block.
- Hermon Dyson – Country Day
- Dyson recorded 14 points, 2 assists, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
- Javon Vital – Hamilton Christian
- Vital recorded 16 points, 10 assists, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he finished with 20 points, 7 assists, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
- Kane Broussard – Lacassine
- Broussard recorded 7 points, 1 assist, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 blocks.
- Devin Lavalais – Marksville
- Devin scored 18 points, with 2 assists, 2 blocks, 12 rebounds, and 1 steal in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 22 points, 11 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.
- Zequan Lewis – Plainview
- Zequan scored 23 points, with 4 assists, 1 block, 20 rebounds, and 1 steal in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 28 points, 3 assists, 14 rebounds, and 3 steals.
- Travone Varner – Richwood
- Varner scored 28 points, with 1 assist, 14 rebounds, and 3 steals in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
- Lavell Lane – Richwood
- Lavell Lane scored 14 points, with 1 assist, 10 rebounds, and 1 steal in the semifinals. In the state championship game, he finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
- Jakobe Shepeard – St. Augustine
