Calvary Baseball named Sharpest Team of the Month
Calvary Baptist baseball put together a dominant month of February, and the numbers back it up. The Cavaliers close out the month at 11-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in district play, earning them the Sharp Athletics Sharpest Team of the Month award.
The Month in Review
Calvary opened February on the road at Quitman rolling to a 9-2 win over the Bulldogs (5-5).
The month’s only blemish came on February 16th at Cedar Creek, a 12-0 loss. The Cavaliers then went on a run to finish the month.
Back-to-back wins over Glenbrook (7-0 and 4-2) got things rolling again before the Cavs shifted into full throttle for district play
