Covington’s Peyton McBee Shines as GeauxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week

The GeauxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by Lafayette Travel, is Covington High School’s Peyton McBee, a standout setter who helped lead her team to an impressive 5-1 record this past week.

McBee recorded 132 assists, 8 kills, 24 digs, 4 blocks, and 14 aces across six matches, including key victories against Pearl River, C.E. Byrd, Haughton, Airline, and Parkway.

Despite a tough loss to St. Michael, McBee’s contributions were pivotal in her team’s success.

Notably, this is McBee’s first season as a setter after overcoming a season-ending injury last year, making her performance all the more inspiring.
