Week 6 showcased some incredible performances from players across Louisiana. Quarterbacks continued to air it out with pinpoint throws in critical moments while running backs and wide receivers delivered explosive plays that shifted the momentum of games. On defense, linebackers and defensive backs were lockdown forces, coming through with clutch tackles and game-changing turnovers. These impact players rose to the occasion, leading their teams to crucial victories as the season heads into its pivotal stretch.
Jaeden Winters – Lafayette Christian Academy

In a dominant Week 6 performance, Lafayette Christian Academy linebacker Jaeden Winters was a game-changer once again in the Knights’ 34-19 win over Lafayette Renaissance.
Winters filled the stat sheet with 10 total tackles, including 7 tackles for loss and 4 sacks, relentlessly pressuring the opposing offense.
He also forced a fumble, recovered one, and recorded a pass breakup.
To top off his outstanding effort, Winters scored a defensive touchdown, proving to be a key contributor to the Knights season.
JT Lindsey – Alexandria

Alexandria’s JT Lindsey, an LSU commit, put on a stellar performance in Week 6, powering the Trojans to a 45-35 victory over West Monroe.
Lindsey was a workhorse, carrying the ball 34 times for 227 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his strength and explosiveness against a tough defense.
His relentless running kept the Trojans’ offense moving and proved crucial in securing the win.
Lindsey’s standout performance further solidified his status as one of the top players in Louisiana as Alexandria continues to make its mark this season.
Hunter Martin – Logansport

Logansport’s Hunter Martin delivered a standout performance in the Tigers’ 46-6 win over St. Mary’s Catholic in Week 6.
Martin was a force on defense, recording 12 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
He also recovered a fumble and blocked a PAT, showcasing his versatility and impact on the game.
Martin’s efforts played a key role in Logansport’s victory as the Tigers improved to 3-2 on the season.
Brodie Savage – Captain Shreve

Captain Shreve quarterback Brodie Savage put on a show in the Gators’ thrilling 77-76 victory over Evangel in Week 6.
Savage lit up the scoreboard, throwing for 462 yards and five touchdowns, leading his team to a dramatic win in one of the most exciting games of the season.
His explosive performance helped the Gators outlast Evangel in a high-scoring battle, showcasing his ability to rise to the occasion and deliver when it mattered most.
Dedric Lastie – Riverside Academy

Riverside Academy’s Dedric Lastie put on a show for the ages, putting up 540 total yards and an unbelievable nine touchdowns in a 76-37 victory over St. Martin’s.
Lastie was unstoppable on the ground, rushing for eight touchdowns, and added a receiving score to cap off one of the best individual performances of the season.
His electrifying effort powered Riverside to a big win, earning Lastie well-deserved recognition as one of the GeauxPreps Offensive Players of the Week and recognized as an impact player of the week.
Johnny Casey – Evangel

Evangel’s Johnny Casey delivered an extraordinary performance in a high-scoring showdown against Captain Shreve, despite the team’s 77-76 loss in Week 6.
Casey recorded 13 receptions for 266 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his incredible skill and playmaking ability.
His performance kept Evangel in the game and almost carried them to a victory.
Collin DiBetta – Acadiana

Acadiana’s Collin DiBetta had a strong outing in the Wreckin’ Rams’ 48-7 victory over Barbe in Week 6.
DiBetta showcased his explosive playmaking ability with 5 catches for 156 yards and 4 touchdowns, consistently finding ways to get open and make big plays.
He was a key factor in Acadiana’s win, once again coming up when it matters for the Rams.
Tuff Street – LaSalle

LaSalle’s Tuff Street put on a show in the first half against Lakeview, leading his team to a 60-28 victory.
Playing multiple positions as a quarterback, wide receiver, running back, and free safety, Street showcased his versatility with 245 all-purpose yards and 7 total touchdowns in just two quarters.
He scored on a 40-yard fumble return touchdown, caught 2 passes for 20 yards, and rushed 15 times for 185 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging 12.3 yards per carry.
On defense, he made 6 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss, forced a fumble, and recovered another.
With such a dominant first-half showing, he was pulled at the start of the third quarter.
Makialley Robbins – Jewel Sumner

Jewel Sumner’s Makialley Robbins delivered in the Wildcats’ 51-0 victory over Springfield.
As an outside linebacker, Robbins was a key defensive force, recording 5 total tackles, including 3 crucial interceptions.
He returned one interception for a touchdown, racking up 32 yards on that play and adding return yards of 58 and 10 yards on his other picks.
In addition to his defensive prowess, Robbins contributed on offense with 15 rushing yards on a single attempt.
His playmaking ability and all-around impact helped secure a win for Jewel Sumner.
John Johnson – Edna Karr

Edna Karr’s John Johnson had an exceptional performance in the Cougars’ 42-14 victory over Brother Martin in a crucial District 9-5A matchup.
Johnson showcased his dual-threat capability by rushing for two touchdowns and passing for two more, including a 58-yard touchdown on the very first play of the game.
When Brother Martin closed the gap to just seven points in the third quarter, Johnson responded with a critical 61-yard scoring pass, helping to solidify Karr’s lead.
His playmaking was instrumental in guiding the Cougars to a win.
