John Ehret’s Anyla Dennison named GeauxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week

Anyla Dennison, a standout middle blocker and middle hitter for John Ehret High School, delivered a phenomenal week of volleyball, helping her team secure a perfect 3-0 record.

In the team’s victories over L. W. Higgins (3-1), Eleanor McMain (3-0), and West Jefferson (3-1), Dennison proved to be an indispensable asset on both offense and defense. She tallied an impressive 57 kills, 34 digs, and 6 blocks across the three matches, consistently leading her team with her powerful presence at the net and remarkable defensive abilities.

Against L. W. Higgins, Dennison notched 19 kills, 12 digs, and 1 block, and followed that up with 22 kills, 14 digs, and 2 blocks against Eleanor McMain. She capped off her stellar week with 16 kills, 8 digs, and 3 blocks in the win over West Jefferson.

Dennison’s all-around excellence and leadership helped elevate John Ehret to a successful week and earned her the well-deserved title of GeauxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week.
