LHSAA Opens 2026–2028 Reclassification Period, Final Decisions Due in December

The LHSAA announced details Monday for the upcoming 2026–2028 reclassification period, releasing preliminary school placements ahead of its scheduled meetings.

Appeals of classifications will be heard beginning on November 6, while the final classification meeting is set for December 3rd.

The reclassification process determines where schools will compete for the next two academic years, including any adjustments to class or select/non-select designations.
