Tristan LeBlanc – Elton

Elton running back Tristian LeBlanc was unstoppable in the Indians’ first-round playoff victory over Basile, 22-18. LeBlanc put the team on his back, running for 176 yards on only 13 carries and finding the end zone three times.

Tristan was the spark Elton needed to punch their ticket to the regional round. The Indians will face #6 Logansport on Friday at 7 pm. It was a performance that showcased his athleticism and determination, earning him the GeauxPreps Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Taron Riley – Lakeside

Lakeside safety Taron Riley had a game for the ages in the Warriors’ dominant 37-12 playoff win over Bogalusa. Riley was an absolute menace on defense, with three tackles and five (5) interceptions, one of which he returned 97 yards to the house.

As if that wasn’t enough, he contributed on offense with 15 carries for 88 yards, proving to be a true two-way star. Taron’s performance made him an easy choice for GeauxPreps Defensive Player of the Week. The Warriors move to the regional round where they’ll face #6 Sterlington on the road.
