Six Louisiana Prep Stars Earn 2025 Pro Bowl Honors

The 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games will have a strong Louisiana presence, as six former prep standouts from the Bayou State have earned their way onto the NFL’s all-star stage. Highlighted by multiple First-Team All-Pro selections, these Louisiana natives have made their mark on the NFL this season.

Houston Texans’ cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. had a dominant season, recording five interceptions and 18 passes defended en route to his 1st First-Team All-Pro selection. The former Dunham star solidified himself as one of the league’s premier shutdown corners, playing a pivotal role in Houston’s push to the playoffs.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase put together a historic year, capturing the elusive triple crown by leading the league in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708), and receiving touchdowns (17). The former Rummel Raider’s record-breaking campaign earned him First-Team All-Pro honors.

Rookie sensation Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars burst onto the scene in his debut season, hauling in 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. The former Walker Wildcat standout proved to be a game-changer, quickly establishing himself as a go-to target and earning a well-deserved Pro Bowl Games selection.

Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson continued his reign as one of the NFL’s top receivers. The former Destrehan Wildcat secured yet another All-Pro selection, finishing the season with 103 receptions, 1,533 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers made an immediate impact in his first NFL season, earning a Pro Bowl Games nod after tallying 109 receptions, 1,204 yards, and 7 touchdowns. The former Comeaux/Southside product showcased his explosiveness and versatility, proving to be a key offensive weapon for the Giants moving forward.

Dallas Cowboys return specialist KaVontae Turpin continues to electrify the league with his game-breaking speed. The former Neville Tiger earned a Pro Bowl selection after returning a 60-yard punt for a touchdown and a 99-yard kickoff for a touchdown.
