Week 3: GeauxPreps names Football Players of the Week

Quincy Adams – Terrebonne

Terrebonne running back Quincy Adams put the Tigers on his back Friday night, rushing for 297 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries.

Adams carried Terrebonne to a huge win over previously No. 1-ranked St. James in Class 3A. The Tigers move to 4-0 on the season and will host Hahnville this weekend for a chance to continue an undefeated season.

Briggs Anderson – St. Charles Catholic

St. Charles Catholic defensive back Briggs Anderson turned in a stellar performance in the Comets’ win over high-flying Dunham. He finished with 11 total tackles (nine solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, and a diving interception inside the 10-yard line to halt a Tigers’ scoring threat.

The Comets moved to 3-0 on the season and look to continue their winning ways this weekend against De LA Salle.
