Week 7 GeauxPreps Offensive and Defensive Football Players of the Week

Thomas Campbell – Neville

Neville High School tight end Thomas Campbell played a pivotal role in the Tiger’s victory over top-ranked Ruston, hauling in 6 receptions for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Campbell’s ability to stretch the field and make critical plays helped propel Neville to the 26-21 victory.

His two touchdown catches kept the offense moving and were key to the Tigers’ win over the top-ranked Bearcats.

Campbell’s clutch performance in this high-stakes matchup earns him the GeauxPreps Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Tuff Street – LaSalle

LaSalle High School safety Tuff Street delivered an outstanding performance in the Tiger’s 36-28 victory over Northwood.

Street’s defensive presence was felt throughout the game, recording 10 total tackles and forcing a crucial fumble.

His game-changing moment came in the fourth quarter when he sealed the win with a clutch interception, returning it 50 yards to halt Northwood’s final drive.

Street also broke up two passes, adding to his impact on the defensive side. In addition to his outstanding defensive performance, he contributed 211 total yards on offense, proving instrumental in LaSalle’s win.
