2022 Preview
Despite two straight trips to the state semifinals, the Church Point Bears must now focus on rebuilding its team after losing 35 seniors to graduation.
Head coach J.C. Arceneaux is also tasked with helping a depleted defensive unit find a new identity after the loss of 10 starters. On offense, seven starters return including powerful running back Tylon Citizen (1,468 yards, 24 TDs) as well as backups Jalon and Jaden Reese.
The offense will be expected to carry the team early in the season while the defensive side continues to develop and learn on the fly.
