2022 Preview
Delta Charter continues to navigate through its varsity football journey with one of the youngest programs in the state.
However, head coach Blake Wheeler hopes that 2022 is the year that his squad begins to produce results on the gridiron with a majority of lettermen returning from a six-win season a year ago.
Offensively, the Storm returns top rushers in junior Juvari Singleton (1,250 yards, 13 TDs) to lead the ground attack behind an experience offensive line with four of five starters returning from last season.
On defense, Delta Charter hopes to see an improved unit with six starters coming back to lead the effort. Senior Robert Doss is expected to lead in the trenches along with junior linebacker Davis Cooper.
