2022 Preview

Erath is counting on the valuable experience it gained by playing a number of younger players last year. Junior quarterback Lynkon Romero (2,291 yards, 24 TDs), junior wide receiver Christian Pillette (916 yards, 10 TDs receiving) and sophomore Mason Hebert (229 yards, 1 TD) are back to power the Bobcats offense. Senior center Reese Domingue is the leader of the line that produced a 2,000 yard passing attack as well as a respectable ground game.

On defense, junior safety Blake Dautreuil anchors the unit along with Pillettee, Hebert and Cameron Soirez. The young crew of key players are looking to better last year's records as Erath plans to take advantage of a six-win turnaround in 2021.

Head coach Eric LeBlanc, now in his fourth year at the helm, will lead his team into a host of tough non-district contests including a pair of home games against Catholic of New Iberia and Vermilion Catholic while road trips to North Vermilion, Vinton and Donaldsonville round out the slate.
