Team roster
Despite not winning a single game in 2021, third-year head coach Tevyn Fisher is expecting his team to "flip the script" and exceed all expectations this season with 13 returning starters.
Although the Gators are fairly young, a large number of returners received a substantial amount of playing time a year ago against some of the top talent in the area, including the likes of Arch Newman at Newman.
On offense, eight starters return led by wide receiver Elijah Lewis as well as offensive lineman Marty Eschete III while sophomore quarterback Nickson Thibodaux looks to take the reins and spark the offense to dominate a fairly-favorable 2022 slate.
Defensively, with six starters coming back, Fisher will need to find its identity by the time district play rolls around. Juniors Lane Creppel and Royce Mamolo join Creppel returns as the leading tacklers from a year ago.
