Team roster

It's a new day in St. Tammany Parish.

Veteran head coach John Kavanaugh was announced as the new head football coach at Fontainebleau earlier this year and is eager to get to work rebuilding a program that has struggled on the gridiron.

Kavanaugh spent the last five years turning Class 2A North Caddo back into a competitive program. He led the Rebels to three district championships and a playoff appearance in each season at the helm.

However, the new Fontainebleau skipper is tasked with leading a program that has won only 11 games in its last five seasons, including just two wins in its last three seasons. Kavanaugh's offensive prowess will be key to helping improve an offensive unit that scored only 90 points in 10 games a year ago.

The Bulldogs return 1,000-yard rusher Jaden Echols who is expected to have an impactful senior campaign. His leadership will play a huge part in helping Kavanaugh guide a unit that returns just five starters from 2022. Junior wide receiver Sebastian Miller is expected to play a key role after having a breakout performance in the spring.

On defense, Fontainebleau returns only three starters but Kavanaugh expects the unit to be an aggressive group that plays sound football as it continues to rebuild with a group of younger players.
