Annual Brotherton Bowl To Be Featured As Part of Great American Rivalry Series

Get ready for a football extravaganza as the Great American Rivalry Series celebrates its 20th season with the electrifying Brotherton Bowl, pitting the Parkway Panthers against the Haughton Buccaneers. On Friday, the stage is set for an epic showdown at Bobby Marlow Field at Preston Crownover Stadium.
Since its inception in 1970, the annual showdown has been the pinnacle of high school football rivalries, drawing fans from near and far to witness the clash between these two powerhouses. As the teams prepare for their 52nd meeting, the anticipation and excitement have reached a fever pitch.
As part of the Great American Rivalry series celebration, the winning team will be presented with a game trophy while one player is selected by members of the working media as the game’s “Most Valuable Player”.
The top senior student-athlete from each program will also receive a Scholar-Athlete Award.
With Haughton leading the all-time series 35-16, this rivalry exemplifies the intensity and passion that define Great American Rivalry Series matchups. In their last encounter, the Parkway Panthers secured a narrow 17-14 victory over the Haughton Buccaneers, highlighted by a spectacular 69-yard touchdown play.
