Belle Chasse’s Tylen Bell Named Volleyball Player of the Week

Player of the Week: Gabby Marcello, Dominican – L – Senior

In the world of high school volleyball, excellence on the court often goes unnoticed, but not this week. GeauxPreps.com, in partnership with Lafayette Travel, is thrilled to present the Volleyball Player of the Week award to a truly remarkable athlete who has exhibited outstanding skills, dedication, and leadership. This week’s well-deserved recipient is none other than Belle Chasse’s sensational outside hitter, Tylen Bell.

Tylen Bell’s performance on the court this week was nothing short of exceptional. She led her team to an impressive 6-1 record, including securing the coveted first-place title in the highly competitive Cardinal Classic tournament. Her outstanding contributions on the court did not go unnoticed, as Bell was rightfully named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, a well-earned accolade for her remarkable efforts.

Throughout the week, Tylen Bell demonstrated her incredible talent, recording a staggering 73 kills and 73 digs, all while delivering two powerful aces to her team. Her consistent and impressive performance truly set her apart from the competition.

What truly stands out is her remarkable consistency, as Bell averaged a phenomenal 4.3 kills and 4.3 digs per set. She exhibited her versatility as a player and her ability to impact every aspect of the game. This exceptional all-around performance was highlighted by two impressive double-doubles during the week.

One of the standout moments was her performance in the tournament championship match against Crescent City, where Tylen Bell shone the brightest. In that thrilling final showdown, she tallied a jaw-dropping 20 kills and 19 digs, an achievement that truly demonstrated her ability to rise to the occasion and lead her team to victory.
