by Hunter Bower // GeauxPreps.com Owner
Which Louisiana high school teams enjoyed the most success on the football field over the last five years?
To get fans revved up for some gridiron action in the fall, GeauxPreps.com is giving viewers a look at the Top 10 teams that produced the best football during the last half-decade.
With the help of Fizz Rankings (Twitter: @FizzRankings), the five-year analysis is totaled using a formula that accounts for different factors including:
- Games Won
- Championships Won
- Finals Appearances
- Playoff Round Appearances
- 10-win seasons
- Plus more factors
Louisiana high school programs must have played in all five varsity seasons to be accounted for in the analysis. For example, teams such as Kenner Discovery and Southside are not eligible due to not having played all five seasons within the timeframe. In addition, schools that did not play in the 2020 season, like Barbe and Elton, are also excluded from this year’s list.
Fizz Rankings is a Texas-based account that uses similar formulas to decide which dynasties are alive and well in The Lone Star State.
