John Johnson, Edna Karr

Johnson made it look easy in a win over rival Warren Easton, completing 10 of 14 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns. The Cougars’ winning streak continues has they now have won 21 straight.

Peyton Houston, Evangel

Houston put up video-game numbers in Evangel’s victory over Haughton. The LSU commit threw for 432 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 67 rushing yards and another score on the ground – nine total touchdowns in one night for the senior signal-caller.

EJ Hanney, Sam Houston

Hanney powered the Broncos past NISH with a monster ground performance, rushing for 248 yards and six touchdowns in a 55-32 win.

Cooper Babin, St. Amant

In a 55-52 shootout win over Live Oak, the Gator’s quarterback accounted for 470 total yards – passing for 250 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for 220 yards and two more scores – to lead St. Amant in a thriller.

Sage Ingram, University Lab

Ingram needed only nine carries to light up the stat sheet, rushing for 266 yards and three touchdowns in a 57-17 win over Parkview Baptist.

Christian Maxie, Byrd

Maxie delivered one of the season’s best performances, accounting for all seven of Byrd’s touchdowns in a 49-40 win over Benton. He rushed 32 times for 341 yards and six scores, then added a 39-yard touchdown pass to seal the victory.

Kaiden Thomas, The Willow School

Thomas orchestrated an aerial masterpiece, completing 15 of 27 passes for 446 yards and six touchdowns in a 67-22 win over Ben Franklin.

Makialley Robbins, Jewel Sumner

Robbins was everywhere for the Cowboys in a 41-14 win over Pine. He tallied 11 solo tackles, three for loss, and picked off two passes – returning them for 57 total yards – to anchor a defense that dominated from start to finish.

D’Siah Bradshaw, Ouachita Christian

Bradshaw wreaked havoc up front in OCS’s 35-14 win over Mangham. He piled up 13 tackles, including four for loss and three sacks; Bradshaw also recorded two QB hurries and a pass breakup in a disruptive all-around effort.

Kobe Vital, Abbeville

Vital led the Wildcats in a 12-7 defensive slugfest to reclaim the Russo Trophy. He notched 13 tackles, four for loss, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in a performance.

Xzavier White, Alexandria

White was the defensive catalyst in the Trojans’ comeback win over Ruston. The linebacker tallied 12 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and a sack – setting the tone for a physical Alexandria defense that sparked a 31-point surge to seal the victory.

Daniel Hatcher, Jena

Hatcher was the spark behind Jena’s offensive explosion in a 68-45 win over Bunkie. The back carried the ball 23 times for 217 yards and four touchdowns.
