In a week defined by dominance both on the mound and at the plate, Logan Lomonaco of Lakeshore High School has been named the GeauxPreps.com Baseball Player of the Week, an honor presented by Visit Lake Charles.

Lomonaco’s performance on the diamond was nothing short of exceptional as he played a pivotal role in his team’s undefeated run. The senior standout showcased his prowess both as a pitcher and a batter, leaving an indelible mark on each game he participated in.

Pitching was where Lomonaco truly shined this week. In a masterful display of control and skill, he worked six innings of scoreless baseball, racking up an impressive eight strikeouts along the way. His stellar performance on the mound culminated in a decisive victory against Loranger, setting the tone for Lakeshore High School’s triumph.

But Lomonaco’s contributions didn’t stop there. He also made his presence felt in the batter’s box, delivering clutch hits and powering his team’s offense. Over the course of the week, he went 4-for-8 with a pair of doubles, showcasing both his consistency and his ability to come through in key moments. Furthermore, Lomonaco crossed the plate an astonishing six times, underscoring his impact as a catalyst for his team’s success.

The collective dominance displayed by Lomonaco and the Lakeshore Titans was evident in their performance throughout the week.
