Louisiana High School Football Represented On MaxPreps Top 100 Winningest Programs List

With the high school football season starting to ramp up, GeauxPreps.com wanted to highlight the programs that sit atop the winningest programs in the country.
Topping the list for Lousiana is Haynesville High School which, according to the MaxPreps, is listed as the 11th winningest football program in the nation with a record of 854-310-34. Since its first season in 1907, the Golden Tornado has become the state’s all-time winningest program and also covets 17 state championships.
Coming in at No. 47 is Neville High School, which owns a 790-264-20 record, according to the national prep sports website. With 12 state championships to its credit, the Tigers remain among the top elite football programs in the nation and are coming off a 8-3 campaign in 2022.
Jesuit High School of New Orleans is also mentioned on the list at No. 81 with 744 victories.
Valdosta High School in Georgia leads the all-time list with 944 victories while Male-Louisville of Kentucky is second with 937.
