A bit of shuffling occurred in the GeauxPreps.com High School Football Polls presented by Chevyland.com following the sixth week of play.
In Class 4A, De La Salle took over the top spot following Westgate’s first loss in 13 games. The Tigers were defeated by undefeated Teurlings Catholic, 30-22. Warren Easton, St. Thomas More, Lafayette Christian and Lutcher rounded out the top five.
Parkview Baptist, Bogalusa (Class 3A), Notre Dame, Welsh (Class 2A) and Ascension Catholic, Haynesville (Class 1A) broke into the GeauxPreps football polls this week after having been unranked previously.
