Week 4 Prep Football Polls Powered By The Tim Fletcher Show
LAKE CHARLES – With the state of Louisiana just three weeks into its high school football season, not much change occurred in the GeauxPreps.com Football Top 10 Polls powered by The Tim Fletcher Show.
All teams that held the top spot in last week’s poll remained as each produced victories in their respective contests last weekend. Acadiana remains at the top of Class 5A while Edna Karr continues to dominate Class 4A after a thrilling victory over John Curtis.
In Class 3A, De La Salle sits ahead of St. James in the Top 10 poll as the two continue to battle for supremacy. Although it sports a 1-1 overall record, Lafayette Christian has shown GeauxPreps.com that it is still the team to beat in Class 2A while Ouachita Christian breezed through another weekend with a 64-22 win over Delhi.
Class 4A did have the biggest changes in the poll as Minden and Northwood of Shreveport entered into the Top 10 as Bastrop and Lakeshore were dropped out and Neville and Eunice fell after losses.
The season continues this weekend with some big match-ups scheduled including Acadiana and Ruston in a Class 5A showdown. De La Salle takes on St. Charles and Ouachita Christian battles Cedar Creek.
