Zay Martin – University Lab

Zay Martin put on a show in his team’s 42-7 win over Parkview Baptist.

Martin’s skill and consistency were on full display as he snagged 10 receptions for 140 yards, finding the end zone twice to energize his team and widen the lead.

His impact went beyond just receiving, too—Martin racked up 202 all-purpose yards, showing off his versatility and ability to make something happen every time he touched the ball. Martin leads University Lab in targets and receptions with 25 receptions, 344 yards, and 6 touchdowns.

Whether he was breaking tackles or outrunning defenders, Martin’s playmaking ability made him a standout this week.

Matthew Lee – Bunkie

Matthew Lee was all over the field in West Ouachita’s 34-13 win over Wossman, making huge plays to keep the Chiefs team on top.

From his safety position, Lee racked up 10 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, shutting down plays before they even got started.

But he didn’t stop there—Lee snagged 2 interceptions, with one of those picks taken back for a touchdown. His playmaking ability was crucial in West Ouachita’s big win, and his performance stood out as one of the best in week 8.
