2022 Preview
Loreauville turned in its first 10+ win season in seven years with an impressive outing last season. Head coach Terry Martin hopes to keep the momentum going in 2022 as he returns a bulk of his offense from a year ago but will need to develop a defense in order to make a deep postseason run.
On offense, the Tigers return several offensive linemen but have to replace two of the most explosive players in the Acadiana area in Calep and Collin Jacob. Although the unit returns a good bit of its ground game from a year ago, Martin plans to run multiple formations in hopes of controlling the clock against some stingy defenses in 2022.
On defense, Loreauville returns four of its front and interior positions, but the biggest question mark lies with the team's secondary which comes into the new season inexperienced. However, with an explosive offense to compliment its effort to try and get better each game, the Tigers could be well experienced by the time district rolls around.
