2022 Preview

Throughout the duration of a tough 2021 campaign that resulted in just three wins, many Marksville High underclassmen were pushed into starting roles due to injuries.

The Tigers return a number of the players with some moved into key positions. On offense, Elidrick Murray and Chris Bryant are expected to make an impact through the air and on the ground while linemen Demerion Dupas could have an impact on both sides of the ball.

Marksville will have its toughness tested right out of the gate with a road trip to Avoyelles while tilts against Sacred Heart, Grant, Tioga and DeRidder highlight the non-district portion of the schedule.

In a new version of District 3-3A, Bolton and Bunkie arrive as Grant exits with its move up to Class 4A. The Tigers have home games against Jena, Buckeye and Bunkie while road tests at Caldwell and Bolton await.
