2022 Preview
North Central got pushed around on both sides of the ball in 2021 in route to another 0-10 season to push the losing streak to 38 games. Despite early struggles, the offense found it's groove midway through the season and flashed potential that it can build on going into 2022.
Sophomore QB Craig Malveaux has exceptional athleticism that affords him the ability to create big plays out of nothing with the help of talented skill players around him. Expect the offense to continue to put up points in year two of head coach Jacob Carruth's tenure.
The defensive front looks to be much more physical after offering little to no resistance to opposing offenses last year. North Central's defense looks to be better in 2022 with improvements from young returning starters and the addition of several new faces. An improved defense coupled with an already dynamic offense will give North Central a great chance at finally ending the long losing streak with a much more manageable non-district schedule.
