2022 Preview

North Webster wasn't able to advance past the first round of the playoffs a year ago with an experienced squad, and now they will have to retool on the fly with a much younger team.

In a new district, that features two squads who competed for the Class 3A state title, the Knights will have to rely on its grittiness and talent in order to stay with the pack. On offense, senior Cooper Sanders returns to lead the fray as the team's leading rusher and receiver while offensive lineman Jacob Carter leads the charge in the trenches. An array of underclassmen will also use their speed to make significant contributions in 2022 highlighted by sophomores Braydon Robertson and Jasayvion Miller.

The Knights return just four on defense and will need time to find mesh together as a unit in a season packed with talented opponents. The first two weeks include road games at Haynesville and North Caddo before returning home for an in-parish battle with Class 4A Minden.

In a newly formed District 1-3A, the Knights host Richwood as well as last year's state championship participants in Union Parish and Sterlington while hitting the road to take on Wossman, Carroll and Bastrop.
