2022 Preview

The Raiders lose an honorable mention all-state running back in Adrainuen Johnson (1,802 yards, 29 TDs) but return a majority of an offense that helped lead the program to six wins and a playoff appearance in 2021. The main question is who will replace Johnson as a serious playmaker?

The tandem of quarterback Luke Spears and tailback Kemontre Magee will attempt to pick up where the team left off last year in hopes of returning to the postseason as Pine moves up in classification to Class 3A in a competitive district that includes last season's state champion Amite as well as Albany, Bogalusa and Jewel Sumner.

Seven starters return to lead a much-improved defense into battle this season as linebacker John Caldwell and lineman Jericho Berry will serve as key players for the Raiders.
