2022 Preview

As one of the smallest football schools in the state, Plain Dealing usually plays with a ton of heart despite how many kids are on the team.

Head coach Clint Walker enters his first season with a bit of experience returning on both sides of the ball. The Lions have been focusing on their summer workout drills to help prepare them for a competitive 2022 schedule.

Two of the Lions that Walker will look to for leadership are tailbacks Tyrese Kimble and Aaron Reddix, both of who contributed as underclassmen last season.

Non-district clashes include road trips to Lincoln Prep, Lakeside and Beekman Charter with a home contest against Delta Charter. In league play, the Lions host Ringgold, Haynesville, Glenbrook and Arcadia while traveling to Homer and Magnolia Charter.
