2022 Preview
St. Mary's is one of the traditional private school powers in Class 1A and throughout north Louisiana with no sign of slowing down.
Head coach Aaron York returns 14 total starters from last year's eight-win campaign that resulted in a playoff appearance. The Tigers hope to carry that momentum in this season and if the team can remain healthy, they should have a chance at a deep playoff run.
Offensively, Adam Parker returns to command the offensive unit while Drake Griffin brings back the ground game and Ethan Busby comes back as one of Parker's top targets. With seven offensive starters returning, St. Mary's hopes to have its fiery offense clicking early.
On defense, the Tigers have Griffin returning to lead the unit as well as linebacker Ben Bienvenu and senior Logan Watson.
