2022 Preview
St. Paul's is looking to build on a historic 2021 campaign that saw the Wolves make their deepest playoff run in school history, eventually falling to Divison I champion Catholic-BR in the semifinals.
A large portion of last year's team graduated but head coach Kenny Sears returns key players that will make an impact athletically on each side of the ball.
Offensively, five starters return with junior tight end Matt Gower looking to serve in a leadership role along with senior offensive linemen Gage Guzan. New faces will step up in the quarterback and running back roles while the offensive line looks to remain as one of the team's main strengths leading into the 2022 season.
On defense, the Wolves will only return four starters but do return senior defensive back Jacob Johnson, who totaled 89 tackles and three interceptions last year. Junior Devan Menon will be a player to watch during the season while Matthew Cody and Connor Lacoste are also expected to contribute.
