North DeSoto quarterback Luke Delafield reached a major milestone Friday night, surpassing 10,000 career passing yards in the Griffins’ 63–49 shootout win over previously undefeated Loyola. The 9-0 Griffins look to complete a perfect regular season next week against Bossier.


The Perfect Seasons

15 teams look to complete a perfect season in 2025, below is a look at each team’s final game:

Edna Karr (9-0) — The Cougars haven’t missed a beat winning 22 straight games and will try to complete another perfect regular season against 6-3 Rummel.

Parkway (9-0) — After a high-scoring year, the Panthers close out against 7-2 Evangel in a matchup of two of the state’s best on offense.

Iowa (9-0) — The Yellow Jackets have stung every opponent so far and now face DeRidder, 5-2 team, in their regular-season finale.

North DeSoto (9-0) — Led by record-setting quarterback Luke Delafield, the Griffins go for 10-0 against Bossier next week.

Teurlings Catholic (9-0) — The Rebels have handled every test, including a comeback victory over STM last night, will host Northside (5-4) with a perfect record on the line.

Vandebilt Catholic (9-0) — The Terriers snuck out of South Terrebonne last night with a 21-18 win. The finale brings a rivalry clash against E.D. White (6-3) as they try to stay unbeaten.

Erath (9-0) — One of the best stories of the year, the Bobcats and quarterback Jack Landry look to finish their dream season against 3-6 Abbeville.

Jewel Sumner (9-0) — The Cowboys will have to earn perfection, taking on 8-2 Amite in one of Week 10’s top showdowns.

Young Audiences Charter (6-0) — Still perfect so far, they play today and hope to keep their streak alive heading into week 10.

Kinder (9-0) — The Yellow Jackets have been steady all year, but Avoyelles (6-3) will test their defense. Last year, Kinder snuck out out of Avoyelles with a 30-26 win.

Ouachita Christian (9-0) — OCS faces a huge regular-season finale with Oak Grove (8-2) in a matchup that feels playoff-ready.

Ascension Episcopal (9-0) — The Blue Gators look to stay spotless as they take on a tough task in week 1-0 in Lafayette Renaissance (7-2).

Hamilton Christian (8-0) — The Warriors put their unblemished record on the line in week 10 against Basile (5-4).

Haynesville (9-0) — The Golden Tornado looks to make it back-to-back perfect regular seasons as they face Glenbrook (3-5) in week 10.

Westminster Christian (9-0) — After an 8-5 season in 2024, the Crusaders have taken a big step forward in 2025. 9-0, they’ll try to finish the regular season unbeaten against 8-1 St. Edmund.
