Team roster
Growing pains continue to be contributing factor as Vinton rebuilds its program under third-year coach Lark Hebert.
The Lions will have to replace experience quarterback Lukas Bunting as well as three linemen from a year ago. A crushing blow was dealt back in the spring with the loss of their leading rusher who hopes to be back in the mix before district play.
On defense, Hebert believes that tackling will be key to having a successful campaign with six starters returning to slow down some of the top offenses in the state.
