2022 Preview
Just one year removed from a playoff-worthy performance on the field, Westminster Christian is destined to advance to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
The Crusaders return a young but talented bunch, especially at the skill positions. An experienced line on both sides of the ball will help aid a three-headed running attack while speed on the outside will help in the air attack. Freshmen QB Steven George has been handed the keys to an offense that broke many of the school passing records in year one.
Defensively, Westminster is expected to be much bigger, faster and more aggressive. The Crusaders return Blake Richardson (81 total tackles, 1 INT) and Brenn Ray (51 total tackles) to lead the fray.
All-district punter/kicker Gabe Proffitt (30-34 PTA, 60 yd avg punt) returns to give WCA a chance to steal ball games on special teams.
