In year two of head coach Terence Cahee II, the Wossman Wildcats aim to build on their 4-7 campaign from a season ago. Wossman will have to replace 17 graduating lettermen including Southern Arkansas signee Johnny Woods and all-state defensive back Sam Farmer IV. Running the spread offense, the Wildcats will return seven offensive starters from last season. Additionally, Wossman will bring 5 starters back from the previous season, running a 4-2-5 defense.

Notable returners for the Wildcats include defensive/offensive lineman Jayden Williams, who boasts a 6’3 285 frame and has received offers from Southeast Missouri State, Mississippi Valley State, and Grambling. Wossman has three more players with Grambling offers: 6’1 athlete Travis Lynch, 5’9 athlete Richard Wilson Jr., and 5’11 athlete Antron Mason II.

Taking a look at the schedule, the Wildcats' non-district games entail a home game versus BTW (Shr.), a road matchup at Northwood (Shr.), a home game against Mentorship Academy, and finished off with a road matchup at Calvary Baptist. Notable district games are a week six road game at across-town foe Carroll and a week seven matchup with Richwood.

Coach Cahee is very high on his team and firmly believes that the Wildcats have tremendously improved mentally and physically and have been impressed at how seriously his team has taken the offseason. Wossman fans should be optimistic about the direction of the program and will likely experience much-improved results this season as well as a major step in the right direction.
