There were several changes atop two of the five GeauxPreps Football Polls presented by Chevyland.com following another exciting week of action.
With University Lab falling to Archbishop Rummel, 17-14, Sterlington reclaimed the top spot in Class 3A as the Panthers took a convincing 51-32 win over Mangham Friday night. In Class 1A, Southern Lab lost to Madison Prep on Thursday while Ouachita Christian dominated Oak Grove, 48-20, to jump back into the No. 1 position in Class 1A.
Six teams debuted in the top 10 this week as C.E. Byrd (Class 5A), Teurlings Catholic and West Feliciana (Class 4A), Amite and Iowa (Class 3A) as well as Ascension Catholic (Class 1A) all jumped into the polls for the first time this season.
