Covenant Christian’s Neville Named Lafayette Travel Volleyball Player of the Week

Volleyball honors are nominated by the school’s head coach. To nominate a student-athlete, the head coach may submit statistics, team win-loss records and other supporting information to by 10AM each Tuesday.

Player of the Week: Bethany Neville, Covenant Christian – MH – Senior proudly presents this week’s Lafayette Travel Volleyball Player of the Week: Bethany Neville from Covenant Christian. Neville’s exceptional performance during the past week made her a standout choice for this honor.

In six dynamic matches, Neville’s impressive stats tell the story of her dominance on the court. She averaged an astonishing 6.35 kills per set, leading her team to an undefeated week, including a tournament sweep at Franklin High School. Throughout these matches, she recorded 108 kills, 12 aces, and 56 digs, showcasing her all-around prowess.

Bethany Neville not only shone individually but also played a pivotal role in her team’s historic victories over local rivals South Lafourche and South Terrebonne. These wins marked a first-time achievement for Covenant Christian.

Neville’s remarkable contributions, both offensively and defensively, embody the qualities of a true volleyball star. Her dedication, skill, and leadership make her a deserving recipient of the Lafayette Travel Volleyball Player of the Week award. Congratulations, Bethany Neville, on this well-deserved recognition.
