Dunham’s Nevaeh Kimmie Named Girl’s Basketball Player of the Week (Jan. 15-20)

Girl’s Player of the Week: Nevaeh Kimmie, Senior, Guard, Dunham
Stat Line (Jan. 15-20): 24.0 PPG, 13.5 RBG, 3.0 APG, 3 BPG
In a week filled with outstanding performances on the basketball court, Nevaeh Kimmie of The Dunham School stood out as the deserving recipient of the Girls Basketball Player of the Week award, presented by S3 Physical Therapy of Lake Charles.
Nevaeh, a senior guard for the Lady Tigers, showcased her exceptional skills and leadership in pivotal matchups throughout the week. The highlight of her performance came in Dunham’s hard-fought 57-51 victory over Class 4A Teurlings Catholic. Nevaeh’s contributions were instrumental in securing the win for her team.
Despite facing a close loss to Class 5A St. Joseph’s Academy, Nevaeh Kimmie’s brilliance shone through. She demonstrated her versatility and determination throughout both games, averaging an impressive double-double with 24.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest.
Nevaeh’s remarkable consistency and ability to impact both ends of the court have been crucial to The Dunham School’s success this season. With a current record of 16-5, the Lady Tigers are in a strong position, ranking second in the Select Division III state power rankings.
