E.D. White’s Brightyn Ratcliff Earns Volleyball Player of the Week Honors
Volleyball honors are nominated by the school’s head coach. To nominate a student-athlete, the head coach may submit statistics, team win-loss records and other supporting information to hbower@geauxpreps.com by 10AM each Tuesday.
Player of the Week: Brightyn Ratcliff, E.D. White – OH – Senior
Brightyn Ratcliff, the dynamic outside hitter from E.D. White, has been named the Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by Lafayette Travel, for her outstanding contributions on the court.
Ratcliff’s week was nothing short of spectacular. She led her team to a 4-2 record, taking on three teams from the VSN Power 25 rankings. Ratcliff’s stats were incredible, averaging 5.5 kills per set with a total of 88 kills for the week. She also contributed four aces and 10 blocks, displaying her versatility. In addition, she averaged 3.6 digs per set, showcasing her all-around excellence.
Ratcliff’s remarkable performances embody the Lafayette Travel Volleyball Player of the Week spirit, celebrating those who go above and beyond for their team’s success. Her dedication and talent make her an inspiring example for aspiring volleyball players across the region.
