Emergency Appeal Hearing Moves LHSAA Football Bracket Release To Monday
Unfortunately, high school football fans will have to wait one more day for the release of playoff brackets.
In an email sent to media members Sunday morning, the LHSAA announced that due to an emergency appeal hearing concerning the Class 3A bracket, the finalized playoff pairings for each class and division would be moved to Monday, November 8 at 11 a.m. on the LHSAA Live App.
The final brackets were originally scheduled to be released Sunday at 11 a.m.
Sunday’s announcement comes on the heels of a recent group of New Orleans area schools being forced to forfeit a number of football games. The most recent decisions were handed down on Friday to Booker T. Washington of New Orleans, Eleanor McMain and M.L. King Charter.
