Three New Orleans Area Football Teams To Forfeit Games Ahead Of Regular Season Finales

Three New Orleans area football teams will be forced to forfeit games ahead of the closing regular season according to the scheduling page on the LHSAA website.

Booker T. Washington – N.O. (Class 3A) has been forced to forfeit all games played thus far, dropping the program to 0-7 on the season. The Lions, who previously stood at No. 16 in the power ratings, are scheduled to face McDonogh #35 Friday night.

Eleanor McMain (Class 4A) was forced to forfeit its first six ballgames according the website, although the Mustangs had previously lost those ballgames.

The only game to have an impact in power points is the double forfeit between Booker. T Washington and McMain. According the LHSAA handbook. A double forfeit adds one point to the team that defeated both teams forfeiting.

M.L. King Charter (Class 3A) drops to 2-5 after being forced to forfeit its first four ballgames of the season. The Jaguars did pick up a forfeit win over B.T. Washington in the process.
