GIRL’S BASKETBALL
Walker Finishes 2023-2024 Regular Season with Undefeated Record (33-0)
On Friday, Feb. 9th, the Walker High Lady Wildcats finished the regular season undefeated (33-0) for the 1st time in school history while also winning a fourth straight District Title. Walker defeated the Denham Springs Lady Jackets (No. 2 in Div. I NS) 71-38.
Lady Cats Senior Guard Ja’Miya Vann who just recently signed and committed to LSU-Eunice, finished with a Game High 26 points, shooting 10 for 18 from the floor (including 6 for 11 from 3) First two titles came in the old District 4-5A (‘21-‘22). The Lady Cats haven’t lost a District game in 3 years.

Pitkin’s Charley Lentz Leads Team To Win In 19 Point Performance
The Pitkin girl’s basketball team defeated St. Edmund, 72-49, last week. Freshman student-athlete Charley Lentz was the leading scorer for the Lady Tigers with 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
