LHSAA Baseball Season Set For First Pitch On Monday

The long-awaited 2022 LHSAA baseball season is set to officially begin on Monday, Feb. 21 with teams across Louisiana taking to the diamond for the first pitch of the season.

Teams set to defend their crown are:

Division I: Jesuit

Division II: St. Louis Catholic

Division III: Notre Dame

Division IV: Ouachita Christian

Division V: Claiborne Christian

Class 5A: Barbe

Class 4A: North Vermilion

Class 3A: Sterlington

Class 2A: Rosepine

Class 1A: Oak Grove

Class B: Choudrant

Class C: Hornbeck

The 2022 season leads up to the LHSAA/Ochsner Baseball State Tournament, which will be hosted by the Lake Charles CVB. The tournament field will consist of all Non-Select championship finalists and is scheduled for May at McMurry Park in Sulphur. Championship location and dates for Select schools will be announced at a later date.
