Ruston Sweeps Division I Titles, St. Louis Makes It Three Straight At State Indoor Meet

BATON ROUGE – The LHSAA/Ochsner Indoor Track State Meet was chocked full of record-breaking performances as new champions were crowned in the boys and girls divisions.

Ruston took home the gold in Division I as it swept both the boys and girls state championships. The Bearcats totaled 59 points with five first or second place finishes while the girls took home eight “Top Two” finishes and totaled 79 points.

For Division II, St. Louis Catholic earned its third consecutive state championship on the girls side with a dominating 111 points while Episcopal finished with 65. In the boys division, University Lab took home the hardware with 62 points while Lake Charles College Prep finished second with 36 points.
