BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana High School Coaches Association is set for an historic moment next week when it holds its annual convention completely online Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23.
For the first time in the group’s history, all 16 sanctioned sports as well as two non-sanctioned sports will be represented. Speakers from across the country will share their expertise and knowledge concerning different topics within each sport.
The group of speaker’s invited totals well over the century mark with the LHSCA providing multiple options within the four day schedule for coaches who wish to register for the event. Events get started around 8 a.m. each day and run to about 8:30 in the evenings.
Categories across the 18 represented sports range from practice & game strategies, program development, mental health, nutrition, training and more.
The virtual clinic will serve as a great asset for coaches in both states and will feature a great lineup. LHSCA members will receive free registration to live clinics and can pay $40 for lifetime access.
