GeauxPreps.com caught up with Taylor for a Q&A session asking about the recruiting process, his goals for 2020, biggest influences and more!

How has the recruitment process been during the COVID-19 pandemic?

I have been very fortunate although I have not been able to physically visit anywhere.

You have received multiple offers from FBS programs throughout the country. How have you been able to process what each school offers academically and athletically?

I try to go on as many virtual visits as possible and do a lot of research on each school.

Are you leaning towards any particular school at this point?

Not at this moment.

Which college coach and/or staff has made the most impact on your recruiting experience through this point?

Coach Gould from Stanford.

Are you in favor of playing a shortened football season against not playing at all?

Yes, indeed.

What are your personal goals for the 2020 football season? How will accomplishing those goals help the overall team goals?

I want to be the most physically dominant player in Louisiana and outwork everyone with toughness and effort. This will help my team win championships.

Who are some of your biggest influences both on the field and in everyday life?

Definitely my mother, Rhonda.

How would you describe your game and also how would you describe your mentality on and off the field?

I would describe my game as physical and versatile. My mentality is mild-mannered off the field but very mettle on the field.

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?

People’s mental strength is more important to me than physical attributes.
